On Saturday 6th December the ladies National Training Camp was held at Marsa Sports Grounds. On this day, women and youths from different clubs came together for a joint training session coached by our very own Overseas and Nation player, Vince Stivala, Carmelo Longo and Sean Gregory.
These sessions help to promote unity between Rugby players from different teams. It also gives everyone the opportunity to work together and learn from each other.
During the day the MRFU Women’s Working Group and the Ladies Representative prepared the traditional fresh “Ftira biż-żejt” which were sold for a minimal price. This was done to raise funds for Women’s Rugby in Malta.
