SEVENS TOURNAMENT AND END OF SEASON 2013/14
The final playing commitment for the club will be held this weekend in Gozo with the MRFU Sevens Series. The club currently leads the scoreboards.
Following the League and the Med Bank Cup double, the club will be looking to add the Sevens Series to it’s list of honours for the season.
AWARDS NIGHT AT THE ROYAL MALTA YACHT CLUB
The club will be holding it’s awards night over the next few weeks at the Royal Malta Yacht Club. Final details and invites will be issued shortly.
The club will be working more closely with the yacht club both for use of facilities for AGMs and formal events, and through many of it’s members taking up sailing during the summer months.
SPONSORS AND NEXT SEASON
The Club will hold it’s AGM during the first week of July. The committee is looking for any interested parties who would like to join on the committee or coaching staff, or who would like to be involved with the club.
Discussions are being held with current and proposed sponsors.
The focus next season will be to increase presence and participation in and from the Swieqi, Madliena and Ibragg area. There will also be a strong push towards the Swieqi Sports Council project which will lead into the club’s academy once all the right elements are in place. This project is being done in conjunction with Swieqi United FC and Swieqi Phoenix Handball club.
