On Friday 22nd August, the MRFU Women’s Working Group and the Ladies Representative will be organizing a Rugby Beach Tournament. This event will be held at Għadira Bay, Mellieħa, at 5.30pm and is opened to both male and female players. Registration is €2 per player.
Each team must have a minimum of 5 players and maximum of 10. Games will be played with a 5-a-side lineout. It is also important to note that teams cannot be mixed gender. During this event two separate tournaments will be held. The first is Tag Rugby. In this tournament everyone is encouraged to play and youths are also welcome. There will also be a full contact Rugby tournament for players who are over 16 years of age.
