The club has a strong and successful men’s section, which has a long tradition of bringing together players from the island with others from around the world.
Youth Academy
For some this is their first exposure to rugby, We encourage players both boys and girls to join and look forward to welcoming you.
I've been a part of the Overseas family for around 7 years, almost immediately after my arrival to Malta. Since that time I've largely played at loose-head prop and for a couple of seasons was even 1st XV captain. Joining Overseas gave me a ready-made group of friends from all corners of the world after moving to a country where I knew nobody. It also enabled me to fulfill a childhood dream of playing international rugby when I was selected for 2 games to play for Malta
Matt Stoker
Having been involved in club rugby for over 30 years (over 20 with Watsonians). The experience and knowledge I have gained by playing/coaching at the highest levels will, I believe, help us at Overseas push for honours in the coming seasons. A lot of work has been done in preparing our pre-season. I am looking forward to working with the players, and passing on my knowledge. With the players’ commitment and hard work I believe we can push for success.

I’ve been living in Malta for just over 5 years. Having come through the youth team at Nottingham rugby from the age of 5, and then playing for my school I was well aware of the family culture around rugby. I originally joined Overseas around 3 years ago after meeting one of the French players on a night out in Paceville. I was immediately welcomed into the team and have with that, acquired a very close group of friends and enjoy training as well as that match day buzz! Would highly recommend rugby and more specifically, Overseas to anybody looking for a team in Malta!

I've been playing with Overseas for the last 10/12 years. I am a product of the Alligators Youth Rugby club, but when it disbanded, most of us joined this team. We Maltese boys found ourselves very welcome even though Overseas is known to be an expats team. Its management, senior team and the social aspect of the team is second to none on the island. I cannot wait to continue to represent the blue and white colours and put on that 9 Jersey again, for another exciting season!
